Medical Keyboards – for sterile and hygienic environments

Medical keyboards are designed for hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and other environments where infection control and cleaning are essential. They have fully sealed surfaces made of silicone or glass that can withstand disinfectants, alcohol, and chlorine without damage. Many models are IP68-rated and made from antibacterial materials that prevent bacterial growth.

The operating temperature is typically between 0 °C and +50 °C, as these keyboards are used in controlled indoor environments.

 

Industrial Keyboards – for demanding and harsh environments

Industrial keyboards are used in manufacturing, marine, transportation, cold storage, and control rooms where dust, moisture, vibration, and temperature fluctuations are part of daily operation. They are built from robust materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, or silicone and can withstand heavy mechanical stress.

The operating temperature typically ranges from –20 °C to +70 °C (some models down to –40 °C). They are often IP65–IP68-rated and can be operated with gloves, making them ideal for tough industrial environments.
